SPE 2013
Your father wants you to teach your younger brother how to wash a car. Describe how to do it, using the information in the pictures below to guide you.
My father wants me
to teach my younger brother how to wash a car. So, that’s what I’m going to do
today. Before we start, I ask my brother to gather the tools needed to
wash a car. We need a sponge, a bottle of car shampoo, a cloth, a bucket and a
soft bristle brush.
First, hose off the dirt on the car and on the
wheels too. Then, scrub the wheels with the brush and some shampoo. Next,
fill up the bucket with water and mix some car shampoo into it. Stir until you
see bubbles. After that, soak the sponge into the soapy water and use it
to remove the stains on the car. Later, when you’re done cleaning, rinse
again the car to wash off the soap and residue.
Finally, wipe dry the car or let dry under the
sun. To make the car shine, you can apply wax. Now, my father will have my younger brother to help him wash his car when he’s tired or lazy.
